R.I.P Humanity

The World suffers a lot not because of the violence of bad people but because of the silence of good people.”
Humans are considered to be the greatest creation of God, created with the purpose of doing good and being good to everyone. They have been given the best opportunities to mark themselves good than any creations in the whole universe.  The term "human" is only applicable when an individual embodies the essential attribute of humanity. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, humanity is defined as a person who demonstrates compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior—a quality or state of being humane.

A human being without humanity is essentially lifeless. This means that a person may appear attractive, intelligent, highly educated, filthy rich, and prosperous on the outside, but if they lack the core attributes of humanity on the inside, they cannot be considered a true human being. They are merely humans in name, unable to be regarded as the best creation of God.

The concept of humanity can be further explored to reveal its profound meaning, encompassing seven different attributes of human nature: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Cultivating these qualities can
bring about joy, peace and success in the human world. Our true identity as genuine humans is determined by our development and display of these humanistic features to others. For instance, we can think of the best-designed laptop, featuring a sleek and thin metal unibody, and a superbly designed backlit keyboard.

It may be considered the finest laptop in the world, but if it lacks essential internal components such as a motherboard, processor, and SSD, it cannot be called a functional laptop. The true power and effectiveness lie within, rather than in external appearances. Effectiveness and the potential for destruction do not solely depend on what enters a person's mouth, but rather on what comes from within. By filtering our emotions, desires, thoughts, and responses, we can prevent ourselves from becoming inhumane. It is crucial to guard our hearts diligently, as everything that flows from them shapes our lives. Whatever we allow to enter our hearts, if not properly examined and evaluated, will undoubtedly manifest itself in negative ways through our actions.

Today, the world needs more love, goodness, and forgiveness to overcome hatred, violence, and fear in our communities. While it is important to love and care for ourselves and our families, true fulfillment as human beings can only be achieved by extending that love and forgiveness to others. Developing expertise in these seven attributes of humanity is not a one-day endeavour; it is an ongoing process that spans generations. Let us serve as an example to the current 5G generation, encouraging them to prioritize the practice of humanity above all else in their lives.

Ultimately, it is through the display of humanity that we truly become human.

“We are all humans until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us.”
